Decent hostel, would stay again, however seemed that there were a lot of 'long term' locals staying there who were not very inviting to people staying there short term Jordan, from USA ~ 17th Nov 2009

The staff were very friendly, and helpful. the rooms and common room were hoovered every morning, and bins were changed daily. there was lots of nights out arranged with free entry and free drinks, and it was a very good experience. good location and hotttt receptionists!! everybody was really friendly, and there was a great atmosphere. Hi we loved the place and the nights out where great we will definetly be back when we come to the gold coast. Compared to other backpackerws we have stayed in our room was better and the staff were extremely helpful. Would reccomend to anyone! Gary, from Scotland ~ 13th Jul 2009

i had an amazing time & will definatly return upon my return to area. thankyou for a namazing stay in surfers. the place is clean for a backpackers. i am a neat freak and this being my only reason for average rating. reason for security being good because found doors to be un secure & gate locked to premises of evening i found restricting. only recommendation be obtain better locks & inable premises to be more assesable. once again thankyou for a great stay in surfers & i will see you next time. angel-lee, from Australia ~ 20th Apr 2009

Great place to stay if you like to party, not so good if you want a quiet night! Clean and comfortable with a good kitchen, and Renee at the travel desk is sooo helpful when planning the rest of your trip! Also the free body boards are great fun!
