Sydney Harbour YHA en Cape Town, Australia

Very nice and clean, but lacking in character and feels very sterile and hospital like.My main gripe with the hostel is that it is so expensive.For the same price (US$200 for a 4 bed dorm), you should be able to get a very nice hotel room in any other country (5 star) but here you need to pay extra for towels and the internet.The toilet is so small that I found it hard to shut the door. my keycard never worked in the lift.My second room wasnt cleaned before moved in.time for coffee tea kiosk closing was inconsistent.good location, stunning views and brillant hostel compared to others in the area. lucy, from England ~ 11th Jan 2012

The view of the opera house is amazing, the rooms are immaculate, and it\'s pretty close to everything you could want to do within Sydney. The Rocks is a really cool neighborhood and it\'s right in it. The only thing I would say is that it\'s a little tough to meet people because it\'s so largeeveryone seems to do their own thing or come there with a group. Tough for solo travelers. The price is a little spendy, but considering the convenient location, the beautiful Opera House views, the modern facility, and the generally super-inflated prices in the whole country, the price is somewhat reasonable. Greg, from USA ~ 10th Oct 2011

Excellent hostel in an excellent location.Rooms very well equiped with bathrooms, lockers, individual plug sockets, and lights for each of the beds.A bit more expensive than most of the other hostels, but definitely worth the money. Sally, from Scotland ~ 17th Oct 2011
