Staff were late to check us in. Charged $5 for a deposit for the key and then tried not to give the deposit back. Charged twice on my card for the stay, once a week before I arrived and again when I got there. Still haven't been refunded. Will definitely not stay there ever again or recommend to anyone. When I arrived at hostel, no staff was there to check me in. I and other patrons had to call around, but no listed numbers worked. Finally another person staying there just gave me some sheets and a random room ( whoever opened the door with extra bed). It took over an hour to get into a room since no staff was there. Then in morning and afternoon of next day, no staff was available still. Noone ever showed up after a day so I assumed I got a free stay, but someone charged my card still. Poeple was nice. A lot of workers stays at this hostel, so not much poeple around durring the day. The fact that it is all appartments is realy cool, not to much guest in rooms. Marie-Claude, from Canada ~ 20th Mar 2012

It was really easy to find! At south beach miami we just took the bus towards aventura mall, the bus number 1 to ft. lauderdale. We jumped of at the 17th street SE fort lauderdale and here it was on the 16th, just around the corner. It is close to McD, Burger King, CVS and the best of all its near busses everywhere, including airport and the beach. Nice clean apartments, with big bathrooms and huge livingrooms, and the best of all a kitchen in every apartment with everything you need! Nic Joakim, from Sweden ~ 15th Mar 2012

When I came to Fort Lauderdale from NZ i had no clue where anything was, the staff here were very helpful and were very friendly. it has a good location where you can easily walk to the shops to buy food or grab a bus. the rooms have air conditioning which you make sleeping and relaxing very comfortable. Most of all the other people staying at the hostel were great, they are all extremely friendly and make fitting in a breeze. Chocolate will definitely be on the top of my list if i were to retur Ben, from New Zealand ~ 27th Sep 2011
