Had such a fun time here, everyone I stayed with was awesome. Everyone would party and was always a blast. The air-con was amazing in the room I stayed in! and It's right in the heart of South beach only like 1 block away from the main strip. We had a good time at the hostel. We lived in a private room, which may have affected the experience, but everyone was friendly and the beach was very close. The Clayhotel is an excellent hotel. Good to stay here. However the there is something wrong with the staff. They miss a certain warmness to their costumers. they have the the attitude of "Your money is important, for the rest you are on your own and we don't care". I asked them some services for things wich were necessary like to change a matras cause a neel (!!!) was sticking out. Nobody did anything. Nice place to stay in, two blocks to the beach. Some nights we heard quite loud music, but I guess that´s expected in a city like Miami. Cleanliness ok (no bugs or anything), and there was a good air conditioning in our room. The staff was excellent and very helpful. We can recommend this hostel! Laura, from Finland ~ 27th May 2011

Everything was excellent except that I lost my cellphone there and the staff said they found one but was never able to find it out and show me if it was mine. Now there's a huge loophole and they should really build up an effective lost and found system. Lujing, from China ~ 23rd Mar 2011
