Total misrepresentation. I booked a dormitory and they put me up in workers' room (without my consent). I only found out on the day of check-out when i walked past the "actual" room. I am contemplating to seek for a full refund! Workers' room is horriblebed, space, smell. There is a lack of transparency for the phone charges....seems like the staff quote any amount that comes to their mind. While located near railway station & shopping belt, it is difficult to get there from metro station. CHEE WEE, from Singapore ~ 3rd Jan 2012

Very helpful staff at the hostel. Close enough to metro stations which link to many of the attractions. Eugene, from Singapore ~ 8th Aug 2011

typical Chinese house, beautiful. bedroom ok,Chinese-style furniture,a bit old. bathroom ok.very complicated to find the hostel as there was no explanation on how to get there..even the taxi driver didn't know..8-10min walks to 2 subway stations:practical. staff was nice and helped us.the room was cleaned before we arrived, after it just got dirty:not cleaned once in 5 days.breakfast was poor and not good.when we checked out we asked us for 140 while I paid everything.but we didn't pay more.. I wasnt sure of this place since no reviews were posted when I booked this place, and I still dont know why nobody has posted something. Perfect for lonely travelers of groups. Staff is amazing, and the place is ok and clean. Breakfast is nice. A bit far from the Subway, but everything is far in Beijing. If you are looking for a fun place to meet new people, this is not the place for you.Food is probably the best. Delicious and cheap, I never paid more than 20 RMB for a plate, rice and beer.
