The Lily Pad en Dubrovnik, China

The place was excellently run, very kind and attentive, providing all kinds of services for very reasonable rates. The location just outside the old city makes it perfectly convenient and extremely quiet and relaxing at the same time. The single room was fully functional and nicely arranged. Only problem is that I got stolen a bit of money in great part because of my carelessness, but it was an unfortunate black spot in the otherwise excellent experience. I found the Lily Pad to have one of the most charming and comfortable vibes out of any hostel I have visited in China.The staff there is almost too nice, the food is amazing, the dogs are cute, and the rooms are comfortable. It is a big old Chinese home and I felt right at home. It's a quiet hostel which is nice. If you want it to be even more quiet, ask for a room not over the courtyard.
