the Malaga free walking tour was awesome! YEN WEN, from Malaysia ~ 13th Jan 2012

Loved this hostel. It's right next to the beach, and city centre only a busride away. Downside were the very hot dorms (one fan in each room) and only one bathroom for a 8 bed female dorm. Other than that, I had a great time. johanne, from Norway ~ 24th Aug 2011

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location is great because it is directly across from the beach. There is some traffic noise, though. It is very easy to take a bus to the city centre to see the other sights of Malaga. The hostel has a great terrace and they serve massive suppers at very cheap prices. I would highly recommend this hostel because of the warm atmosphere. Nadine, from Canada ~ 31st Jul 2011

The hostel was very easy to find off the 11 bus line and was spitting distance to the beach. There's a supermarket close that's very convenient. It's a 15 minute walk back to city center, but that's not a problem because you'll be more than happy to just spend the day on the beach. Big, well-stocked kitchen if you want to cook for yourself, but they do offer a reasonably-price dinner every night for 6eur. Overall, the staff was very friendly and would usually join us on the beach at night. Chris, from USA ~ 15th Jun 2011

We had an incredible time staying at the melting pot. There was only one unfriendly staff member (a man with blonde hair), but the rest were incredible and welcoming. I highly recommend doing the pub crawl (nightly) with Andrew or Catherine as they were extremely responsible and hilariously fun to go out with. Mark, from USA ~ 8th Jun 2011

loved this hostel!Beautiful, clean, and literally across the street from the beach. The staff were super sweet and helpful, and the sangria was cheap and delicious! It's a long walk from the bus station, sotake a bus or cab if you're a weary traveler. I didn't mind being far from the center of town I was there for the beach, after all =) Sarah, from USA ~ 18th May 2011

We had the basement room and it was kind of cold and humid. But, everything things else super. Particulary the staff who were great! I recommand also to do the free tour of the city. Sebastien, from Canada ~ 19th Mar 2011
