The hostel as a whole is very good. Conveniently located close to subway. Helpful staff and great atmosphere in the rooftop bar. My only complaint is that my bed was way too hard, which resulted in very little sleep. But on the other hand, you don't travel to Shanghai to sleep! Info: I had the single room. I really liked that hostel. I stayed in single room and it was extra clen, bed was soft. And it was lovely looking room better then in some 3 star hotels. The hostel is in the city center and is easy to reach within about 5 minutes walking. The staff is helpful and friendly, the English language skills vary from person to person. The room is sparsely furnished, there was neither a wardrobe nor a locker. The en suite bathroom was modern, yet simple. I liked the water dispenser in the room. No mattresses on the bed, you are basically sleeping on a wooden board w a thin cotton quilt on top of it. Which is great if that is what you want but just be aware. adam, from USA ~ 8th Aug 2011
