The Prescott is a drug rehab center. They moved me to their sister hostel at the BackPackers Hostel once I showed up.This is probably the crappiest hostel I have ever stayed in.Only 6 showers for the entire hostel.16 beds share one toilet. No air conditioning for the rooms. The "TV" is the main room with cable is a 15 inch old school TV with messed up colors. The doors are loud to each room and it's impossible to open it without waking up people that are sleeping. Will never stay again. It's a old fashioned style establishment which is interesting to look around. Enjoyed staying there for the brief time I was there. Was a little out of the way of the main city however the public transportation is quite easy to navigate in order to get into downtown Boston. I liked the place and would stay there again if I was passing though. Taylor, from Australia ~ 12th Sep 2011

The hostel was away from the center, there was no one at the front desk, so I had to wait for someone to come from their other hostel and the people in my room were without any manners and respect. At least the front door was locked all day and only the guests had keys. mateja, from Slovenia ~ 6th Sep 2011

The back packers hostel is on the corner of the main street through Everett and School St. not on Church like adverticed. The building is kind of dirty and worn out.It was ok though for a few nights.the shuttle from the hostel to Wellington station was nice. Meghan, from USA ~ 2nd Sep 2011

The staff is very helpful and nice! The Hotel is a little away from the hostel so you maybe have to wait a while. No problem to get fast into the city with bus/subway. Lena, from Switzerland ~ 10th Sep 2011

Rooms were dirty, people were not friendly but not unfriendly either...location was way out in the sticks...doors stuck so no way to go into and out of rooms quitely...internet was free though...overall, one of the worsse places I have stayed...would not recommend it again unless I had to (and I had to on such short notice) David, from USA ~ 31st Aug 2011

we were informed the prescott "had moved" but we were just moved to a different hostel in Everett. We heard they overbooked the prescott and just put the overflow to backpackers bargain rock...which was noisy, no soap or dishes or papertowels. lori, from USA ~ 19th Apr 2011

Staff was helpful when around, but they were not always around even during scheduled hours. When I arrived I had to wait 20 minutes before any staff member could be located.Computer access was excellent, a real plus.No opinion on 'fun'/not applicable. David, from USA ~ 13th Apr 2011
