We hsad a great time at the tent. The food and beer is cheap. The location isnt spectacular but close to the tram. I have a few suggestions. One, the 1am curfew really sucks especially if you werent necessarily just trying to drink, but arent ready for bed. Is guite far from the city center, and if it is a cold night you will need to ask for an ektra blanket. Come early, then you a most likely to be able to find two/more bedst next to each other if you are more traveling. The tent has a real camp lifestyle. Alexandra, from Denmark ~ 15th Aug 2011

The best place in Munich! It is just perfect for bag-packers! it's very different from the youth hostels because the atmosphere is very good!the tram stop is at 2 minutes and you are in nature!the best place to meet people in the kitchen and the terrace around good beers! and the staff is very nice, miss you guys! BEST HOSTEL EVER!Seriously, everything about this hostel screams fun.They provide full facilities (laundry, bathrooms, showers, cafeteria (in which the food is all grown on property), table tennis, etc.Plus you are guaranteed to meet people who will become lifelong friends.This hostel has made me ensure I return to Munich in the future just so I could recreate the fun I had on my last stay.!! Awesome place, great staff. Only stayed for one night but the bathrooms are very clean and the WiFi is fast. Bit of an odd concept, but I enjoyed it. And very cheap! Convenient to reach too. Our favorite hostel so far. Don't be scared it's not as spartan as it looks. Cheapest place to sleep in Munich, and cheap food available as well. Cold at night, but otherwise surprisingly clean and comfortable for a place that is just a giant tent. Michael, from USA ~ 23rd Jun 2011
