It's a nice place over all. The pub downstairs feels welcoming and homey, but it does always have music on, so it's not a quiet place to relax.The kitchen upstairs is actually the "common room" for the hostel.And it serves the purpose pretty well, except it closes at 9pm.After that, you have no place to be except in your bed or down in the pub if you don't mind the noise and the crowd. In general, a very nice hostel: clean, friendly staff, good location. On the down side, the dorms are quite small, especially when you take everyone's luggage into account. The location was a good one - near Victoria station and in walking distance to Hyde park and all the palaces. Great for visits, when you want to focus on this part of the city. The staff was also very friendly and the room & the bathroom were clean and tidy, only the toilet was a bit off. The security for the luggage room didn't seem to be the best in my opinion, but I was able to put my laptop separately and I've no complaints for d security in the rooms.
