This can be described as a central hostel, near the party (for people who don't look for that take something to cover your ears because you can ear the outside), with very nice staff and great environment. noisy / dirty / lack of curtain in the room l'hotel était très bruyant. Dans la premiere chambre où nous avons été logés, le mur nous séparant de la chambre voisine n'allait pas jusqu'au plafond (pour une raison de conservation des plafonds, sûrement classés...) et nous pouvions participer pleinement au retours de nos joyeux voisins à 4 du matin toutes les nuits. le lit, sensé être double, était composé de deux matelas simples, entre lesquels se creusait un gouffre chaque nui Celine, from France ~ 4th Nov 2011

Very happy to have happened upon this place!Sure it's a little loud at night, but it is a youth hostel in a central location, so you should be prepared for such things.The staff is warm & helpful & prone to hanging out with you if you are alone.Washer, kitchen, common area, central location, reasonable prices, my favorite place in Florence! Loads of character, massive rooms and right in the centre of Florence. From our balcony we could see the edge of Piazza Santa Croce. One of the guys that ran it was also very helpful and spoke brilliant English. A bit noisy at night though (up the road from one of the club areas in town) so maybe take some earplugs!
