There's a reason this is rated as the best hostel in Lisbon - it is! Only thing I didn't like were the (huge) lockers under the bed were a little noisy. I think they need to rubber coat the clasps. I found travellers house to be true professionalism amongst the hostels that I have stayed in throughout my duration in Europe. First, the hostel was very easy to find and in a well centralized location. Easy accessablity to the Metro, Bus, and Train stations. Further, the staff was exceptional along with the services. The best hostel I stayed at so far in Europe. If you have extra $$, booked the single/double rooms - you get the luxury of staying at the top floor with your own kitchen, living room, bathroom and balcony with the view of the arch. You share this with two other couples as they have 3 rooms on that floor. Great for families/couples and even singles looking for privacy and reasonable priced rooms. AMAZING hostel; absolutely the best place I've ever come across in our months of backpacking! The staff is wonderfully amazing and helpful, the events at the hostel are always fun and cheap (wine night, etc.) and the location could not be more perfect in the city center.
