The staff were incredibly nice, really helpful. Breakfast was tea & toast. Rooms were clean with linens/towel, ac or fan and bed was really comfortable. Much of the place was clean with the exception of the 1st floor bathroom, which has good hot/cold water but is in desperate need of remodeling. Great wifi connection, good location & great security. Travellers Palm is hands down the best hostel I have ever stayed in. It is a wonderfully calm oasis in the chaos that is KL. Its a very small and personal hostel. The location is fantastic - it is within walking distance of all the tourist attractions, and also close to all the transport links to the airport. It is in the best area of KL to stay, very clean and Andrew and Shaq are so lovely and helpful - even gave me a lift when possible - I was very sad to leave and will stay here when I go bac Bethan, from Wales ~ 26th Sep 2009

The owner was helpful and sweet, but the other employee was mean! Also, the place wasn't very clean. Particularly the bathrooms. The rooms weren't terrible (for a hostel), but I've seen better. There were rats. Amanda, from USA ~ 19th Apr 2009
