Stay away from this hostel. the room was very very dirty, nobody came to clean it during our stay and the most disgusting thing was that the pillow cases and bed sheets smelled of previous people sweat. you can find better hostels on the same street. Paolo, from Italy ~ 25th Oct 2009

We booked the room at a really low price, so we expected it would be terrible. Somehow, it was ok except for the broken wooden shutter which may not provide absolute privacy. Other than that, as a hostel, everything there was acceptable. Diana, from Taiwan ~ 28th Sep 2009

The hostel was cold and dirty, there was an open window IN the shower that couldn't be closed, the wireless internet didn't work in the room Elisabeth, from Austria ~ 25th Aug 2009

It says on the website that there is free internet- by that they meant an internet card that is good for an hour and then you pay after that. $5 for 2 hours. Everything else was satisfactory. Meghan, from Canada ~ 6th Jul 2009

This was advertised as a quiet hostel, which I think is very important as not all of us are party animals! It has lived up to that, being quiet, safe and clean. I definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Sydney. The only slight negative, although not a complaint, is that the carpets and paintwork could do with renewing as it is rather tatty but don't let that put you off as it is a good place to stay. It's advertised as a clean hostel but it definitely wasn't, it wasn't the dirtiest hostel I've ever stayed in but it was not very clean at all..Staff seemed sort of annoyed if you had questions or needed help. Lina, from Sweden ~ 29th Jan 2009
