the area is quite dangerously, specially at night, event though it's not that far from downtown (10 min walk)

The hostel is save, but the place isnt so save! Many homeless people on the street. I took at night a taxi. Once I felt scary on the daytime when I walked back to the hostel! Anyway, the hostel is save and cheap. So spend the money for the taxi - it isnt that expensive!

Room 110 needs a lock that makes it EASY to enter the room. Jiggling a key on end is no good. And the $2.00 debit card fee to pay the balance should be made known up front on the web site and NOT when you arrive. And the desk should have $10 in cash on hand to return the key and towel deposit and not have to ask the patron for $10 to do it. And you should not be asked by staff if you have a passport when you try to enter the premises when you damn well had to have one in hand when you signed i

It was the best hostel I have ever been! It has large common area (incl. amazing pool and jacuzzi) with great atmosphere, friendly staff, tasty and free coffee and tea and a lot of other freebies, secure locks in room doors, etc. Many very greatly positive points wholly overshadow the little facts that I have never seen so dirty and hairy linen, and leaking wastewater tube in any hostel. The hostel is located in walking distance from downtown casinos area and Greyhound bus station. I liked also

it's in a terrible neighborhood that is far from the strip. Technically downtown is in walking distance, but it's a very dangerous walk, especially at night. The beds are also wrapped in plastic, so sleeping is mucho uncomfortable. Oh, and they don't give refunds.
