Friendly staff, accomodating, and ready to help and answers questions about it. In the manager's own word "not a party hostel, we like to keep things quiet" but the location's good enough to compensate for that (Vila Madalena Bairro). A great stay, and a good adress. I would highly recommend this hostel. cute, artsy neighborhood with good nightlife. the staff was incredibly helpful and had great recommendations! a slightly long walk to the metro, but there are buses nearby. Skylar, from USA ~ 2nd Aug 2009

I booked for 3 people for 2 nights online, upon arrive i was told there were no spaces available, i had spent 70 reis in taxi journey, not pleased
Hi Lee, You arrived late! It's no show. We found a vacancy for you in another hostel, but you prefered to go by taxi than bus or metro. If you can, please, can back and stay one night with us. You will change your mind about our hostel! You are welcome!

Very welcoming staff! Tulio was the best host ever! We were given a map of the area and the places recommended to eat, shop, sight see were tailored to our interests. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. The kitchen is easily accessable and welcoming to use. There are many bathrooms.
