The rooms were very dirty and damp. The staff is mostly disorganized and seem to have no idea what they are doing most of the time, and in one case, just outright rude. Be prepared to switch rooms (possibly multiple times). The food was awful. The worst was the location. It was difficult to get anywhere from the hostel, and the staff gave terrible directions. I wouldn't stay here again.

Shuttle was nice, but it is still quite far from the main town and we had to take the tram every time. The owner is very nice though, and was very helpful in explaining activities in the area and places to visit. Julia, from USA ~ 17th May 2012

Although the hostel is a bit far from the city center you have an excellent opportunity to discover places of Nice you wouldn't visit otherwise. A nice walk from the hostel to the beach gives a good idea of the daily life in the French Riviera. If you are not interested on this, use the hostel's suttle bus service, it is excellent. I really appreciated the shuttle that went back a forth. It made the stay so much easier and made up for the displacement of the hostel.My biggest complaint is the noises that the doors made in the rooms.It made it impossible to have a good night's sleep. This hostel was the most unique of all the ones we stayed in. It has tons of accommodations like free wi-fi, free breakfast, and a kitchen available for cooking. What can I say? This is one of the best run hostels ever. Firstly there is a car that picks you up from a designated spot. Secondly the hostel is huge and has a great bar and kitchen. Finally, the staff is super friendly and helpful. I was there in Winter and it was still buzzing. I\\\'d love to return to Nice to experience the summer time at the hostel! Highly recommended! Although we were considerably older than the rest of the guests we were made to feel most welcome.The standard of food was high and the staff extremely obliging
