This place was dirty, staff was not friendly at all. They make you feel unwelcome and give you an attitude when you ask for directions or such.I will tell everyone I know and those I don't that they should not stay here by any means! Read Owner Comments Ralph, from USA ~ 9th Jan 2012

Hey! The Vintage Hostel was very good, I was very happy about choosing it. The staff spoke really good english and was very helpful, the room was clean enough for me and the bathroom was ok. The only thing is that the neighbourhood is a bit shabby at night, if you're alone, but if not the location is perfect. 2 min to the metro station, 5 min from Gare de Nord and just some blocks from beautiful Montmartre! The place is very nice, with beds in good conditions, the internet works ok, there are supermarket next door, refrigerator and kitchen stuff available and it is near Gar du Nord a train and metro station...I recommend! Carlo, from Brazil ~ 26th Sep 2011

The staff at the hotel were very friendly although somewhat useless. The rooms were clean in the sense the beds were made but you don't want to know what was under the sheets when we took them off, luckily we didn't see this til' before we left.The TV remote in our bedroom didn't work and the shower would overflow onto the floor unless you stood still while showering, you couldn't turn around.The location was ok, so long as you walked a block away. there were not any soap in the bathroom to wash hands. building was kind of old and small. elevator didn't work properly and it was very very small and old. if u lived in second floor u could not use the elevator at all. Read Owner Comments sara, from Iran ~ 9th Sep 2011
