The free breakfast every morning was a huge plus, and in general everyone's really nice and helpful. The bathrooms are sub-par, but regardless I'd still highly recommend going there if you're just looking for a cheap home-base / place to rest your head for a short trip! Anne, from USA ~ 3rd Oct 2011

We had booked an 8 bed dorm and there were only 3 of us staying there which was perfect! En suite bathroom, just average. We had our own balcony looking out onto the street but double glazing shuts out all the noise. Good location for us, by the station, but we did Pompeii and the beach so not sure what it's like for exploring Naples. Staff (Mario!) super helpful. Good kitchen, you meet people while cooking. I loved this hostel!! It's family owned and they make you feel so welcome like an extended relative visiting. Tuesday night the dad of the family makes a nice big pasta dinner that everyone staying is invited to. Naples in and of itself is a rough, dirty crowded city but in great proximity to Pompeii and Sorrento. The staff at Welcome Inn are so helpful with directions and sometimes they'll even go with you somewhere for a day trip if you want! I loved it and will definitely recommend to anyone. I had a 4 days stay in an 8-bed dorm. Basically it was ok, but the bathrooms (especially the one besides the kitchen and the one in room 302) were often untidy and disugsting. People did often not use the toilet brush, not washing their hands afterwards. The lockers do in no way look secure, I was really wondering why they were there. The living room and the free WiFi is nice, not so is the breakfast. If you want to have something else than toast and 2 types of jam, bring your own stuff. Alexander, from Germany ~ 2nd Jul 2011
