The staff at the West Lily are very helpful.The hotel is close enough to walk to restaurants and cafes but away from any noise.They rent bikes and can answer questions about getting around in the area.The heating worked very well in the room as did the wireless internet. Great hotel at extreme low cost! Location could not be better - 5 min. walking from West street, but away from the noice.Helpful staff, who speak good english. Rented ok bikes at reasonable price. Room (twin) big and clean with ac and tv. Beds a bit hard - but no more then all the other hostels we have stayed at in China. Would recommend this hotel, and stay here again! west lilly is a nice hostel/hotel (the atmosphere reminded us more of a hotel than a hostel) with a great staff!! they are very helpful and can tell you all about different excursions you don't need a guide for and can do by your own. I would recommand this hostel to everybody, good location - near bus station, room for 3 persones - big, clean and very comfortable, staff is very helpful, nice, they spoke fluently english which is not so commun in China...
