Compared to Backpackers we stayed in during our trip to NZ, this YHA was tatty in comparison, particularly to bedrooms. Clean though and freindly helpful staff. Linda, from England ~ 9th Sep 2009

The hostel was nice and the staff were very friendly. The location is just really bad, in the middle of a residential area. I guess it'd be good for you if you like a quiet place. Not good for younger travelers. Scott, from Canada ~ 3rd Feb 2009

this is a nice big hostle. You can feel comfortable staying there, has no bulk beds in 4bed room. :) and no lockers in the room. :( julia, from Germany ~ 29th Jan 2009
