there is no security ,the rooms are in very poor conditin. wile i was there i was continual bitten by bed bugs which means they hardly hanged the sheets and the air conditiniong never work. they should of paid my to stay there not the other way round peter, from Australia ~ 24th Oct 2009

the staff are quite friendly, and accommodating. i didn't like that the towels were dried on the staircase banister. it's in the heart of the backpacker district, so very central. but for the same reason, it is filled with foreigners. bruce, from Canada ~ 8th Oct 2009

This hotel is pretty nice, me and my friends just didn\'t like the shower as the water volume is too small. The staff are friendly and caring. There\'s one morning we are missing our breakfast because we are late for the day trip, and the lady actually packed some food for us (we didn\'t even think of requesting for it!), I am so grateful for it. And well, the breakfast there is simple but tastes good. One more thing is that I accidentally left my mobile phones (yeah and it\'s 2 phones) f Ai Yun, from Malaysia ~ 12th Aug 2009

The Yellow House hostel has more than one building on a couple of different streets. When we booked the hotel we recieved the confirmation email and address.Our reservation was not actually for the building at the address we were given, only we called in advance for a pickup at the airport we would have arrived at the wrong hotel,ten minute walk away. all staff members we encountered had a limited knowledge of english and could rarely help us with enquiries. small,grubby,ant-infested Joanne, from Ireland ~ 30th Jul 2009

Not bad hostel, rooms and bathrooms are well cleaned but corridors etc are a a bit shabby. No real atmosphere, and difficult to meet people in dorms as only have 3 beds. Breakfast good and location right in backpacker district. Patrick, from England ~ 19th Aug 2009
