This includes new hand made wooden beds & full single size anti-stress mattresses in the dorm rooms, & full or double size anti-stress mattresses in the private rooms. All the mattresses are regular 6-inch thick, not the cheap thin ones. We put in all high quality furnishings to hope to get a better customer base.
All rooms have a private bath inside your room, cable TV, fans & free Wi-Fi throughout the property.

breakfast is not included, but you have use of a fully equipped kitchen & our prices are less than other hostels.
The hostal accepts US dollars, Quetzales & Travelers checks.
cancellation policy is 72 hours
We offer private airport pickups for $37. This price is for 1 to 3 hotel guest. For larger groups, it is $8 extra per person. For this service, please send your (arrival time, flight #, airline name and from what city you are arriving from) via email
If you are planning your own way, from Guatemala City airport, take a shuttle or drive to Antigua (45 minutes) via Calzada Roosevelt. Enter into Antigua, via 3rd Calle. You need to turn left on 6th Ave, go 3 blocks, turn left on 6th Calle, go 1 block, turn left on 5th Ave and in half a block is Hostal Antigua on your left (1 blk south of the central park).

The only thing is that they "inspect" your room before you leave and have signs that if towels or sheets have any stains you will have to pay XX. I understand that you should pay for destroying hotel property but a dirty sheet or a dirty towel should not be something that causes a fine - I'm thinking of the girls especially, who might be surprised one night while visiting and wake up with stained sheets.
