Sobre Arnies Backpackers

Direccion: 63 Fitzwilliam Street (opposite Queens University), Belfast, Northern Ireland
Welcome to the friendliest and cosiest hostel in Belfast!

When you arrive at our safe, clean, 27-bed, city centre hostel you'll be greeted with free tea/coffee and biscuits so you can relax in front of our warm coal fires.

We have a lovely kitchen, dining-room, lounge and garden open to all visitors. Along with our free Wi-Fi, we have internet access available on our in-house computer. Feel free to use our in-house piano and guitar. There's no curfew or lockout.

We provide a full kitchen and common areas, kept warm by real coal fires, along with radios and a television/DVD player. We also have laundry facilities available to guests.

This is an environmentally-friendly establishment, as we recycle. You might be lucky enough to meet the Jack Russell dogs that often visit!

Our friendly staff will do their best to make you feel right at home. Feel free to ask for any information about tours, travelling, and the local area. There are tours of Belfast and the Giant's Causeway from the hostel as well as lots of info and advice!

Black Taxi Tours run daily from the hostel. This is an informative tour which takes you to see the Peace Wall, the Catholic and Protestant murals of Belfast, the Titanic shipyard and slipway, the museum district and much more.

The 'Hop on Hop Off Open Bus Tours' of Belfast pick up from the hostel. This tour takes you to all the important spots in Belfast and you can hop on and off wherever you like in order to explore even further.

Tours going to the Giant's Causeway leave from the hostel every morning at 9:30am. The tour includes a trip along the Northeast Coast line through the Nine Glens and stops at the Carrick a Rede rope bridge, Giant's Causeway, and Bushmills Distillery.

We also have tours to the Mourne Mountains! Get picked up from the hostel and take a journey though the Mournes, with stops at St Patrick's grave in Downpatrick, the beautiful seaside town of Newcastle (situated within the Mournes), and Kilkeel.

We provide plenty of info and advice! Arnie's is the ideal place to explore the culture, nightlife, shops and entertainment in Belfast.

Great place.Only issue is there seems to be a group of people who are semi permanent residents and treat it like a workers\' hotel. Also some late night parties that seemed to involve a bunch of people who were not even staying there.Other than that - great place. Winston, from USA ~ 31st Jan 2012
