Welcome to Around The World Backpackers. We are a small, friendly, family-owned and run backpackers approx. 5 mins from the heart of Christchurch.
What we provide to our guests...

* Bicycles for hire - $5 for 4 hours; $10 full day.
If you have been travelling for some time or are embarking on your journey through NZ - come and stay at Around The World. We can provide a safe, quiet and relaxing "home away from home."
Dorms - All our dorms have only 4 beds - no large dorms!
We also have a twin room (2 single beds) and double rooms.

* PLEASE NOTE: We will only late take check ins up to 10:00pm. NO CHECK INS after 10:00pm.
* Payment is due on checking in. Once you have made your payment, NO REFUNDS will be made (unless in exceptional circumstances).
* CANCELLATIONS - We require 48 hrs notice of your cancellation. If you cancel within the 48hr period you will be charged the equivalent of 1 night's accommodation.
* NO SHOW - You will be charged the equivalent of 1 night's accommodation.
* Check out - 10am. If you want to stay longer, you will need to notify us prior to checking out.
* We provide all linen. No sleeping bags to be used in beds.
* No smoking in rooms or anywhere inside the building - smoking is allowed only in designated area outside.
* ALCOHOL IS ALLOWED IN MODERATION. No consumption of alcohol on our premises after 11:00pm - NO EXCEPTIONS. We will not tolerate drunken behaviour.
* No cooking allowed after 11:00pm.
* Quiet zone between 11pm and 8am.
* Please respect our property and the property of your fellow travellers.
*Reception 9am to 9pm. NO CHECK INS after 10pm. Check out 10am. $10 key deposit. Balance due when checking in.
*From 1 Jan 2012 - $2 non-refundable fee for any Credit Card transactions.
*CANCELLATIONS within 48 hours of your arrival time will be charged balance of 1 night.
*NO SHOW charged balance of 1 night.
* No alcohol between 11pm12 midday. Drunk guests will be removed from our hostel.
