Tranquil (Oxford Dictionary) calm, serene, peaceful and quiet. \'THAT\'S US.\' If you are looking for a hostel outside the noise and hussle of the city centre we are situated about 15 mins walk north of Cathedral Square. Smaller homely, yet funky, well facilitated hostel with awesome indoor/ outdoor living area. Large sunny dining room, lounge with plenty of free videos. All bedrooms heated, some with own TV, own basins and fully made-up \'new\' beds. Internet, pool table, FREE LOCAL PHONE CALLS.

Kitchen in particular terrifying from a cleanliness point of view.That feeling when you walk and your shoes stick to it.Filthy shelves, fridge doors, work surfaces.Couldn't have gone in the showers bare foot, and was apprehensive about the bedroom carpet (there were clear remnants from previous occupants).Didn't feel confident sleeping with the window open on ground floor and an all or nothing opening.Clutter in communal areas was mind boggling.Santa hats, socks, bits of furniture.
