The Digby Backpackers Inn is a small friendly hostel, located right in Digby, walking distance from boardwalk, fishermen's wharf and restaurants. Comfortable, ready-made beds, free towels, fully equipped kitchen, spacious living room and a garden to relax in at the end of the day. Simple breakfast is included.
Digby is located right on the Bay of Fundy, with its highest tides in the world. Be amazed by beautiful scenery and historical places that form the foundation of Canada as it stands today. Annapolis Royal, Canada's oldest permanent European settlement and former capital of Nova Scotia, can be reached by local transit.
Bear River is a stones throw away and represents unique architecture, a large artist community, and an impressive native interpretive center at the native reserve just outside of the village. Finally, Digby is your perfect stop-off point on your way to some of the best whale watching in North America, right in our area!

**WE WILL WAIT FOR LATE ARRIVALS BY ACADIAN LINES (11PM ARRIVAL) OR 11PM FERRY ARRIVAL FROM SAINT JOHN (= 8PM DEPARTURE FROM SAINT JOHN) - PLEASE SEND US AN EMAIL TO CONFIRM YOUR MODE OF TRANSPORT**
Check-in from 4pm to 9.30pm.
Late check-in BY RESERVATION ONLY for 11pm Acadian Lines bus arrival or 11.45pm Saint John ferry arrival - please let us know by email what your mode of transportation will be.
NO CHECK-IN AFTER 9.30pm (except when arriving by 11pm Acadian Lines or 11.45pm ferry from Saint John - PLEASE NOTIFY US!), check-out by 10.30am.
No smoking policy, 48 hour cancellation policy. CASH ON ARRIVAL ONLY.
We cannot accept reservations for arrivals after midnight. Please also note that we can only accept the remainder due in cash on arrival. There are 2 banks (RBC and Scotiabank) within 300 meters from the hostel, you're welcome to settle in first, just please make sure to pay at least your first night by evening. Please note there is a CAD10 cash key deposit per key.

HI down there this was a fantastic stay, hostel is recommended to anyone who wanted to enjoy circling around the bay or wanna go for the islands. Arnd, from Germany ~ 5th Jul 2012
