Hostel del Rio en Dominical, Costa Rica

Hostel Del Rio is the newest addition to Pueblo Del Rio, located right at the entrance to Playa Dominical.
Our central location provides easy access to:

Tourist Info Centre (right next door)
Restaurants
Bars
Shops/Grocery Stores
Beach (about a 3 minute walk)
Waterfalls
And a beautiful private garden on the river (exclusive to Hostel Del Rio visitors)

The hostel is located next to our tourist info centre, where you can use our free Wi-Fi, or one of our computers. Behind the hostel we have a kitchen with tons of supplies to fulfil all of your cooking needs. From here you can take a seat outside in our lounge area along the river for one of the best spots to view the sunset in town! The rooms have A/C and hot water showers, and we have a night security guard. Our friendly and helpful staff is there to assist you in getting settled and comfortable as well as getting to know the area, where to eat, drink, and explore!

Accommodation Information

We have one large dorm room that holds up to 12 people (8 single bunk beds and 2 double beds). The room has A/C, hot water showers, free lockers for bag storage (with own lock), lounge area/Wi-Fi area outside, and access to communal kitchen, outdoor garden lounge area, and use of our computers in the tourism office.


We also have beautiful private cabinas available for rent. These rooms can accommodate up to 2 people, they have a private bathroom with hot water shower, A/C, a private porch with river view, and access to communal kitchen, lounge area, and the tourism office for free Wi-Fi and computer use.

We also have a brand new apartment for rent. There are two separate rooms both with ceiling fans. 1 room with a double bed and 1 with a single bed. There is a large living room separating the two where we could put another mattress if you would like to accommodate more people. There is a kitchen that is furnished with a fridge, microwave, blender, and gas stove top. The bathroom has hot water and a tub/shower. Located right in the center of Dominical and across the street from our hostel (so you have use of our kitchen, wifi, and garden area as well).


Both accommodations have night security.
