As we are in an exceptional location, in the heart of the medina close to the major mosques of Fes, out of respect for the Muslim culture we have a NO Alcohol policy at DAR SIENNA.
Smoking is permitted on the terraces.
We request that guests keep music down after 10.00pm.
Re photography from the terraces of DAR SIENNA: Please do not photograph our neighbours on their terraces. Whilst you will of course want to photograph the magnificent views please take care not to include any neighbours in the photograph. It is particularly offensive to stare at Moroccan women. Please, please respect the privacy of the neighbouring women and children, who, particularly in summer, you will see going about their daily business of laundry, chatting, cooking etc. As most medina houses do not have outside windows, or indeed air conditioning, the houses can get very hot and in summer some families sleep on thei roof terraces. The roof terraces are the women's private domain.Many thanks.

We do not accept credit cards. Payment in cash only. There is an ATM near Dar Sienna. We have a No Alcohol Policy at Dar Sienna. There are several hotels serving alcohol in the medina. You will love the Moroccan whiskey, which is the wonderfully refreshing mint-tea.
