I was so pleased with this hostel, the staff are the most friendly I\'ve ever met! They were so helpful, and so forthcoming - if you\'re just hanging around the (quite good) common room/reception, you can avoid getting to know them. Dorms are good and clean, has one shared bathroom, but it is not usually a problem. It\'s very close to town, and it\'s a good starting point for meeting other travellers. Positives: The rooms are very clean, and the beds are great. The staff was helpful with local info and happy to book tours and trips. Negatives: The staff doesn\'t do much to make you feel at home (freedom to use the kitchen, etc). The front door locks late at night, and you have to ring the bell incessantly \'til someone gets up to let you in. Trail of ants leading to the wastebasket in the kitchen.
