From the motorway:
Take the exit “LUCCA OVEST”. When you are out side from the motorway you have to take the 1st right, then the 1st left. Turn right at the traffic light, this is via s.donato and the b&b is on the left side of the street after the train rail.
You can park your car for free in the street next to the B&B.
By public transport:
The easiest ways from the train station are:
Take the city bus LAM-LINEA ROSSA (Chiasso-San Concordio) .The bus stop is outside the train station, on the left. You can buy the ticket at the bar of the train station or at the newsagent. Please, tell the driver that you have to get off near Via San Donato, at the beginning of the street there is an ice cream shop called “Il Gelatone” (Da Palmiro).
Take a taxi, it's about 5 minutes.
If your luggage is not too heavy you can walk thought the city center and ask for via S.Donato; it's around 25 -30 minutes from the train station.

Directions from the bus station:
If you’re arriving by bus, It’s only 5 – 10 minutes walking from the bus station. When you are outside the city wall from the main gate (Porta S.Anna) just keep straight, you have to take the street in fron t of you on your left hand, the one that is close by the barrier on one side. At the 1st round about take Viale Luporini and turn left at the 2nd round about, this is Via S.Donato and the house is at the n.300 on the right side of the street.

Anyway you'll find a tourist information office there, where you can ask a map. Remember to ask for VIA San Donato and NOT for PORTA San Donato (this is one of the gate of the city wall).
If you are coming from PISA AIRPORT, you can:
-Take a direct bus to Lucca, if you don't have to wait to long for it.
- Take a city bus to Pisa central station, and then take a train to Lucca.
Both options take around 50 minutes to reach Lucca. You can buy the ticket at the ticket office inside the airport.
If you are coming from FLORENCE:
I suggest you to take a BUS, because it is faster and the bus station in Lucca is only 10 minutes walking distance from the B&B. I suggest you to check on g o o g l e map how to reach via S.Donato 300 from Piazzale Verdi. Anyway you'll find a tourist information office in the same square of the bus station (in the opposite side of the square), there you can ask for a free map and directions. Remember to ask for VIA San Donato and NOT for PORTA San Donato (this is one of the gate of the city wall).
The bus station in Florence is in front the train station.
