Lucerne YHA is a very international place and here you will actually feel the global attraction of Lucerne! The 200-bed hostel lies a short distance from the town centre in the nearby recreation area alongside the Rotsee Lake.
Most rooms include 4 to 6 beds but there is also a cheaper option which is the spacious 20 bed dorm. A generous breakfast buffet is always included in our rates.

The staff can be quite abrupt especially if it is nearly time for their break. The evening set menu dinner offered for approx £10 is not very appertizing. Maria, from England ~ 13th Jul 2012

Addition to you payment for accommodation you have to pay guest tax( about 6 CHF per person per night). But there is nothing notification about it whenyou are booking places at the hostel. The hostel is situated quite far from the city center (about 20-25 minutes by foot). There are no free internet access and wifi there. For that you have to pay extra.
