Nestled in the centre of Manchester we are located above the lively Walkabout Bar and Nightclub. The bar serves food from midday every day until late. We love our sport at Walkabout so pop in and watch a game on our Big screen, or dance the night away all weekend when our DJs party through till 3am

Walkabout is across the road from the Opera House and a stone's throw away from the MEN Arena, Manchester Central, the main shopping district, vibrant China Town, the Northern Quarter, Canal Street and a short cab to the famous Curry Mile and Old Trafford, let alone museums, the universities and historical buildings!

Room and front door key cards will be provided to each guest so you can come and go as you please. Guests can access free WiFi from Reception and the bar. A lot of our staff are antipodeans or travellers, so feel free to drop into the bar and ask for their tips on places to go and things to see!


Please Note:

-We do not allow any guest or children under 18 in the hostel
-Photo ID is required on arrival from each guest checking in, regardless of age or we cannot honour your reservation
-We have a strict non-smoking policy
-Check in is strictly between 2pm-11pm- Extended check in is available on Friday & Saturday nights until 1am- check in through the bar.
- We take payment on arrival by card or cash
-Please ensure you bring a credit card as we will record the card details on arrival for security on the room
- Noise will be heard from the attached bars until they close - the nightclub is open until 3am on Friday & Saturday nights
- We have a 48 hour cancellation policy - therefore all cancellations must be made 48 hours before the 2pm check in time, or you will charged for your first night of stay
