An Stór is ideally located to explore the South of Ireland. Road, rail and bus links connect Midleton with all the attractions of Cork, Kerry and Waterford. The Jameson Heritage Centre, Cork City, Cobh and Youghal are minutes away. Midleton is well known for it\'s great restaurants, shops and pubs.
All our comfortable rooms are ensuite and a good night\'s sleep is guaranteed in this friendly, family-run hostel. A cold breakfast is now included in the hostelworld package.
We can provide single, double, twin, family rooms and dormitories. Free car parking is in our own carpark

You can choose to cook in the self-catering kitchen, or groups can be catered for in our new dining room.

The hostel is within minute\'s walk of the main street, buses,train, shops and restaurants. Tourist facilities include golf, horse riding and surfing.(see our Special)
The Jameson Whiskey Centre, Fota House and Wildlife Park, and more, are all a short drive away, or accessible by bus or train.

Cork city is 20k to the west of the town and easily accessible on the N25.

An Stór is close to many tourist attractions. Ideally, it is best to travel by car, but most sites are accessible by bus or train. Cork City is 20minutes away. Blarney Castle is to the north of the City. Cobh, with its cathedral and Queenstown heritage site is nearby as is Fota Wildlife Park. To the east of Mildeton is the Heritage Town of Youghal, with many tourist attractions and wonderful beaches. Lismore, over the border, in Waterford, is also a beautiful Heritage Town.
