The Youth Hostel Piero Rotta in Milan, a member of Hostelling International, makes an excellent base for exploring the Duomo, the Pinacoteca di Brera, the Castello Sforzesco and all the other sights of Milan.

With 360 beds we are the one of the biggest hostels in Milan. We have spacious, 6-bed dormitories and private rooms and facilities including a common room, a café and internet access.

A membership card is required to stay in the hostel.

HI Membership card needed : 3,00 extra euro p.person p.night.
Rooms with 6 beds not-mixed. All our rooms have common bath on the floor.
No smoking hostel. Very close to S. SIRO STADIUM and new FIERA RHO famous for International Exibition

No permission to be in the rooms from 10 am, and not even permitted to access them, due to a cleaning time. This was in some days, a real problem,especially that the room was not cleaned at all.
We are very sorry that you were not satisfied with the cleaning of your room. Concerning the access of the rooms during the cleaning hours, as you can imagine for security reasons we cannot allow people to go into the rooms and corridors during the cleaning hours: all the room doors would be open for the cleaning and it would be possible to enter every room and take other people belongings. This is why we recommend all our guests to take whatever they need during the day, before the cleaning starts.
