Welcome to Smart Stay Hostel Munich City, formerly Easy Palace! We’ve has a new name and appearance since March 2012.

It's all about the new name - Smart Stay. Not only have all our buildings been renovated, modernised and revamped in the course of renaming, they also offer travellers a unique feeling of homeliness without impacting on the budget. We’re the newest hostel in Munich and the place to make the most of your visit to Munich. Stay at the only backpacker hostel that’s just two minutes’ walk from the Oktoberfest and near two subway stations taking you downtown to the Marienplatz!

Explore Munich's heart, walk to all the city's major sites and find cafés, markets and nightlife just in our neighbourhood. Stroll up downtown, explore the English Garden and taste a beer at the Hofbrauhaus Brewery. Talk a trip to visit Schloss Nymphenburg or visit the German Museum located at the Isar River. Our staff will help finding your way around in Munich.

We offer beautifully designed and exceptionally clean dormitories. We have two-, three-, six- and eight-bed dorms suitable for backpackers, families, groups or individuals visiting on business.

All accommodation is offered with ensuite facilities, dressing rooms and lockers. Bring your own lock! We also feature fast internet, a great kitchen, a lounge/TV rooms, laundry, luggage and bike storage and lots of local discounts.

Our backpacker hostel has private rooms and dormitories, all with ensuite bathrooms and lockers. Facilities include internet access, a launderette, a lounge with pool tables, a kitchen, a bar and a café.

We're just five minutes from the city centre and the Oktoberfest grounds and there are two metro lines to take you directly to the Olympic Stadium, the Allianz Arena and the trendy student neighborhood of Schwabing. There are plenty of restaurants in the area surrounding the hostel, as well as shops and other amenities.

We are open 24 hours a day and we do not have a curfew or lock-out time.

Smart Stay will not charge your card, except in case of no-show or late cancellation. To avoid that please inform us about changes in your booking or about cancellations at least 24 hours (before 2pm) before arrival via fax or email. Cancellations made by phone can not be accepted. Payment will be accepted in cash or by maestro, VISA, Mastercard or AMEX and is due at arrival.
