Los hostales Wombats City han sido votados como la mejor cadena de hostales en 2006, 2007 y 2008 por los huéspedes que se alojaron con nosotros. Nos gustaría dar las gracias a todos y cada uno de ellos. ¡Prometemos seguir así!
"De todos los hostales más punteros de Munich, éste es la mejor opción: combina estilo con una buena localización. Pasando el patio acristalado, encontrarás un staff muy amable y experimentado, muebles modulares muy buenos y duchas y cuartos de baño privados en todas las habitaciones". - Lonely Planet.
Estamos a tiro de piedra de la principal estación de tren de Munich, que es el punto neurálgico del transporte público de la ciudad. El casco antiguo está a sólo cinco minutos a pie, y también puedes venir muy fácilmente desde el lugar donde se celebra el Oktoberfest (si todavía puedes caminar, claro).
Tenemos amplísimos dormitorios y la mayoría de las habitaciones dobles vienen con su propia terraza. Estamos especialmente orgullosos de nuestra instalación de aire acondicionado, de nuestro patio acristalado con árboles de verdad, hamacas y tumbonas. Si vienes en coche, podrás aparcar en la entrada.
Razones para venir al Wombats:
.- Limpieza: desgraciadamente, algunos hostales no se la toman en serio. Para nosotros es primordial: hemos ganado el premio al "Hostal más Limpio del Mundo". Dos veces.
.- Comodidades: estamos localizados muy céntricamente, y cerquísima de la principal estación de tren y transporte público. Máxima seguridad garantizada con nuestras llave tarjeta para acceder a la puerta principal, a todos los pisos, todas las habitaciones y a tu taquilla. Todos los dormitorios tienen cómodas camas de madera, ducha y cuarto de baño privados, y taquillas para tus pertenencias más valiosas. Te daremos un set completo de ropa de cama, un cóctel de bienvenida, WiFi gratuito, y un mapa de la ciudad hecho por nosotros mismos con toda la información que necesitas para moverte por la ciudad. También ofrecemos desayuno en buffet libre (¡come todo lo que puedas!), nuestro womBar, que sirve comida y bebida muy baratas, terminales para acceder a internet, lavandería, recepción 24 horas y, por supuesto, nada de límites de edad, toques de queda, cierres ni normas estúpidas.
.- Un hostal hecho por y para viajeros: nosotros también hemos viajado, y sabemos de primera mano lo que quieres y lo que esperas de nosotros. Nos preocupamos por ti (y por que vuelvas algún día)
.- El mejor ambiente: estamos seguros de que te sentirás bienvenido. Cuando has estado todo el día por la calle, visitando la ciudad, museos, andando y andando, está genial tener una agradable charla en el hostal tomando unas cervezas, hablando y haciendo amigos. ¡Eso es lo que hará tu estancia memorable!
.- Tenemos la mejor relación calidad-precio de la ciudad. Seguramente encuentres hostales más baratos, pero ninguno te ofrecerá lo que te ofrecemos nosotros.

Welcome to our comfortable baby in Munich!
We're just a stone's throw from the main train station which also serves as the major public transportation hub.
It’s not much further to the old town (5 minute stroll or 2 stone throws) and we're within easy walking distance of the Oktoberfest grounds (if you still CAN walk…better don’t throw stones).
We have amply dimensioned dormitories and most doubles come with their own terrace. We're especially proud of our air-conditioned, glass-roofed courtyard with real trees, real hammocks, semi-real (Beware of the wormholes!) beach chairs and beanbags.
If you travel by car, you can park it in our basement.

Outstanding cleanliness!
Unfortunately not something to take for granted but we do take this seriously: we've won Hostelworld's 'Cleanest Hostel Worldwide' award. Twice.
Excellent amenities!
We're centrally located and close to the trains and public transport.
There's maximum security with smartcard access for the front door, the floors, the rooms and your locker. All our rooms come with comfy wooden beds, private shower, toilet facilities and lockers for your belongings.
You'll get a set of bed linen, a small welcome drink, Wi-Fi (only on the ground floor; we still fight the machine!) as well as our self-made city map with all essential information about the going-ons in town.
All that for FREE! …aaaaawesome.
In addition we offer an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet, internet terminals, laundromats, 24/7 reception service and our lively womBAR serves cheap drinks and food.
There’s - of course - no age limit, no curfew, no lockout and no stupid rules whatsoever.
(If there are rules they are not stupid - at least in our world. But since we define what’s stupid and what’s not there’s no point in arguing….just kidding.)

Great social atmosphere!
We make sure that you'll feel safe and welcome here. When you've been on the road all day long, seeing sights and all those freakin’ museums, it's cool to have a nice scene at the hostel where you can have some beers, talk and make friends. This will make your stay memorable! Many a traveller stayed quite a bit longer than primarily intended.
Wombats is no cheap dirt…
You may well find a cheaper place to crash in town, but none where you get more value for your money.
We were voted the Best Hostel Chain Worldwide at the 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 Hoscars. We promise to keep it up!

Please note that the rates given on this site don't include breakfast. Our all-you-can-eat continental buffet brekkie costs € 3.80. You don't need to 'reserve' for breakfast, just come 'round to the reception in the morning if you're belly claims it’s independence. We’re SO sorry but there's no kitchen. It’s a shame, we know. Unlike our other hostels, Wombats Munich does not have a communal kitchen because there are some ridiculous laws which make it almost impossible...besides that, our landlord wouldn't let us to avoid fire hazard. Check. Again we truly apologize but it’s like trying to scream down the Great Wall of China if you intend to complain about that - there just won't be a kitchen...ever. :-(
