A really comfortable atmosphere, with open minded people. Excellent consultation and warm welcome. Tough it is like a 30-40-minute walk from the train station. Take a cab for 10-12 bucks. Also you should plan on staying for 2 nights, because there is more to see than just the falls.

Thanks for staying with us and thanks pointing out even in winter Niagara is at least a couple days for backpackers to visit properly. (Summer it's at least three days) Find the real Niagara. Do not do the ridiculous day trips from Toronto or the the typical tourist stuff. Let us help you find the real Niagara. The hikes along one of the world's greatest rivers alone are amazing and not touristy alone. Yes we are a 25 minute walk from the VIA Rail and Greyhound Stations However there are very convenient local bus options. We are also a 10 minute walk from the Niagara GO Transit stop which is the cheapest and fastest way to Niagara and our hostel from Toronto The best part about our very quiet, very convenient location is that we are only a 5 minute walk to the waterfalls and a 5 minute walk to the entertainment district for your night time partying.
