Pasos House está en una ubicación perfecta Miragaia-es ahora una zona protegida debido a su condición de Patrimonio de la Humanidad y es una fabulosa mezcla de callejuelas adoquinadas que han estado allí durante 500 años. Derecho por el río Duero, donde las casas de vino de Oporto de Sandemans, Ferreira y Cockburns, entre otros, esta zona está llena de vida pero muy agradable con mucho que hacer y ver, Porto típico, virgen, cálido y lleno de carácter. Inspiring abundan los edificios. Iglesias, museos, excursiones por el río, los viajes del tranvía a Foz, a través de embarcaciones a las playas de Gaia, restaurantes, cafés y bares, es todo lo que hay que hacer. Y esta una casa fabulosa de tener como base. . Calefacción central da la opción de visitar todo el año con total comodidad. El río Duero es de un minuto y Ribeira, que es el latido del corazón de Porto es sólo a lo largo del río. Un vaso de oporto es obligatorio!

No Smoking policy inside the hostel! There is a patio outside and 2 small balconies where you can smoke!

Steps House is a place to wind down and a perfect place to enjoy all that Porto has to offer - great bars, clubs, cheap restaurants, cafes, boat trips, the port wine cellars.

The river is just down the hill and the tram to the beaches of Foz is 2 minutes away.

The property has cable TV, WIFI throughout and loads of games and a Wii console for the lazy! Porto is on the doorstep so have a glass of free Porto Wine and get going!

At Steps House you'll find a warm welcome in our spacious lounge and kitchen 24 hrs/ day. Our staff will help with your entire traveler's needs, for example: tourist info, ticket service (shows or city tours), night life tips, laundry service, or just a beer while you plan your next activity 24 hrs/ day.

At Steps House our main goal is to make you feel home. We have three floors were the dorms and bathrooms are distributed over the floors. It has been totally renovated to a very high standard with a totally equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a great lounge.

There are 2 mixed shared dorms and a private room. our maximum capacity is 20 people so although it is a big and spacious the house feels very cozy!

The living room has a fire to lit up during the winter and the house has central heating as well! So during the winter cold nights you can cuddle up around the fire and enjoy your free glass of Porto wine! Steps House is in a perfect location -Miragaia- is now a protected zone due to its status as a World Heritage Site and is a jumble of fabulous little cobbled streets that have been there for 500 years. Right by the River Douro, home to the port wine houses of Sandemans, Ferreira and Cockburns amongst others this area is full of life yet extremely friendly with much to do and see, typical Porto, unspoilt, warm and full of character. Inspiring buildings abound. Churches, museums, trips on the river, tram journeys to Foz, boats across to the beaches of Gaia, great restaurants, cafes and bars, it's all there to do. And this a fabulous house to have as a base. . Central heating gives the option to visit all year round in total comfort. The River Douro is a minute away and Ribeira which is the heart beat of Porto is just along the river. A glass of Port is obligatory!

The best way to come from the airport is by metro: from the airport to Sao Bento.

and then the best way is to go in the bus 500 LOIOS-MATOSINHOS (Mercado).

The stop you need to come out is Miragaia...only 4 minutes in the bus,... from Sao Bento metro Station. then just walk to the house :
1. Follow north stairs in front of the Monte dos Judeus in the direction of R. of Cidral 42 meters
2. Turn left to continue on the stairs of Monte dos Judeus 4 meters to StepsHouse
