This is in the historic district of Salvador, which has some beautiful buildings and sights but also can get a little rough around the edges. We stayed here just a night and then moved closer to the beach area. We stayed in the dorm, which is a pretty typical dorm with bunk beds. They give you fresh sheets, although they´re a bit cheap and thin. Eileen, from USA ~ 2nd Jan 2013
