overall a pretty good hostel. I stayed in a 6 bed mixed room. It's not a shabby place the lounge and downstairs kitchen is actually nice. If you get your own private room, those are way nicer than the ones you share with people. The 6 bed rooms are basically 3 bunk beds with a makeshit curtain for privacy and a "shelf" (its basically a wooden board that you can padlock) on the bottom to store your stuff. Bring a lock to save five bucks!! Also, SF has tons of homeless crackheads! Be WARNED! Michael, from USA ~ 7th May 2013
When you book a private room with Adelaide they will send you around the corner to their sister property the Dakota. I don't think Dakota was as nice as Adelaide so that was a bit disappointing but overall it was decent. Not too far from the BART or from Union Square and they had plenty of space in the storage room so that was nice for holding our bicycles. The staff was friendly and helpful. Value I suppose isn't too bad for SF but I thought it wasn't great for the property. Wayne, from USA ~ 2nd May 2013
