We arrived 10pm and the staff was a trainee without a trainee badge. She said she couldn't find our booking and asked us to wait. She served two other customers until we stopped her and said why it is taking her so long. We ask for the manager and she said the manager is coming and the manager never came down. After 1 hour another customer is even more helpful than the staff and tried to help. after another 30 minutes we finally paid normal rate.No English speaking staff. Very bad service. We thought it was inappropriate that our bathroom didn't have a door. We also expected the room would be cleaned and towels would be replaced on a daily basis, but found that we had to ask the reception for this to be done. We were shocked to find that the hotel didn't have an iron! And 100RMB for a game of snooker is more than just a little over-priced!! On the positive side, the reception staff spoke some English and were friendly and helpful. It was also really cheap to stay there! Mansura, from England ~ 13th Oct 2012
