Shanti Hostel 2 is ideally located in historical, quiet and central area of Skopje- Madjir Maalo (one minute walk from Shanti Hostel 1), within walking distance to all major attractions, and interesting spots of Skopje with a super transport network at your door.
Ideally located by the river Vardar and 3 minutes next to the bus and train station, you will find everything you need nearby: restaurants, museums, pubs, cafes, clubs, shopping malls, theatre, swimming pool, cinemas, ex-change office, ATM and many more attractions all easily reachable by foot. The old part of the city is a 10 minutes walk from Shanti Hostel.
Owned and managed by a couple , travelers too, who together designed this Hostel in order to provide you with the best stay in Skopje and offering you an outstanding experience of the Balkan life. Enjoy a friendly, fun and intimate atmosphere for travelers, who want more chill place, hopefully making you feel at Home.
Our new 4, 6 and 8 bed mixed dorms are clean and fresh providing you with sheets, pillows, blankets, towels, large safety lockers, reading lights, power plugs and the bed made for you all for free.
On every floor we have new bathrooms and toilets.
Comfortable TV room with more then 100 channels, movies, games and books.
Second chill room with computer and free 24h internet.
All of the rooms are equipped with A/C.
Our friendly, English speaking staff, will provide you with free maps and all the information you will need - sightseeing, transportation, restaurants, nightlife, etc.

Coffee offered on arrival, very friendly staff and clean dorms - it was a pleasure to stay at Shanti II in Skopje, and I would highly recommend backpackers travelling through Eastern Europe to stop by and take in the charm of this homely hostel with its local members of staff who are well-informed, great fun and good to be around! The location is an added bonus: only a five-minute walk from the main train/bus station and within a typical Skopje neighbourhood. Will be sure to go back again! John, from England ~ 11th Apr 2013
