Family run accommodation in a period home. Airport/station transfers, late arrivals are accepted. AFTER 22.30HRS A STANDARD TYPED NOTE IS LEFT AT RECEPTION DOOR THIS IS THE MAIN HOUSE WHICH YOU WILL CLEARLY SEE ON ARRIVAL. The note gives clear access to your room where the key will be on the inside and lighting and heating left on. The note also gives information regarding breakfast the next morning. If you arrive late and are leaving before 7am we need to be notified of this and will sort taxis if required and receipt.
We are adjacent to a pub The George for lunchtime/evening meals, renowned for homecooked meals with generous portions (only 100 metres distance).
We are adjacent to a pub called The George. Booking is needed and the contact is 01279 507472. Please note they stop cooking at 21.00hrs.
Our breakfast is self service continental and early breakfast is catered for.
We are located on a village green. Travelling time to Stansted airport is only around 14 minutes. The local main line leading in/out of London Liverpool street is only 4mins by car.
All our rooms are fully ensuite, with cotton linen, colour TV, tea and coffe making facilities, alarm clock on request, hairdryer also on request. All rooms have their own private external entrance apart from the first floor where there is a hallway separating two rooms. The rooms are all located in our fully regulated barn conversion (offering complete guest privacy), whilst complying with Historic building, fire, energy and sound regulations.
Adjacent to a country inne 'The George' for lunchtime/evening meals, renowned for homecooked meals with generous portions (only 100 metres distance).
FREE AIRPORT/BISHOPS STORTFORD STATION TRANSFERS (7am-11am transfer TO airport only, 16:00 - 21:00 is collection FROM airport only)
Long Term parking available, off street in our own private car park at the rear of our plot (backing onto open fields and not visible from the road) at a charge of £3.50 per day.
Breakfast lounge available at anytime even for those very early morning airport departures.
Check-in from 4pm
Late checkin possible at anytime (for checkin after 23:00, please email or call to arrange).
Check out 11am.
Wireless internet access available (Free of Charge).
