Tel Aviv-Jaffa

Tel Aviv-Jaffa is the largest city in Israel and one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. The city is at the heart of Israeli society and represents the coming together of Israels contemporary life and its ancient roots. A tourist can find pretty much anything that he is looking for here from the ancient buildings of Old Jaffa, to the century old Bauhaus buildings of the White City, from the business district, to the diverse social centers and old-style markets.

Tel Aviv stays warm for the better part of the year, so come prepared to enjoy the fine beaches anytime between February and October! You will also find here the broad array of galleries, museums, theatres, and other cultural centers for which Tel Aviv is known.

Last But Not Least The Israelis!

Israelis are a genuine and warm people who are as eager to make new friends as they are happy to point a stranger in the right direction. Although sometimes perceived as rude or pushy, Israelis are actually very generous by nature. Whether on the bus, or in the market, you will find locals who will be pleased to practice their excellent English and make your acquaintance!

Directions and how to get here:

- From Ben Gurion Airport by bus or train:
Take a bus to the central bus station or a train to Tel Aviv, Ha-Hagana train station, which is very close to the central bus station, which you should go to.
From the central bus station it is a 15 min walk to the hostel (Elifelet Street) you can either walk on Salame (Solomon) street (west toward the beach) till you cross Elifelet street and then turn right to Elifelet till you reach Elifelet 10. Or, take bus number 44 or 46 from 4th floor at the central bus station and ask the driver to drop you off at the closest station to Elifelet street. (Ask him for directions...they are usually nice and like to help). Also, from Har Tzion avenue ( close to central bus station) bus number 42 will drop you off at the corner of Salame( Solomon) street and Elifelet street. Then just walk up Elifelet (north) till you reach Elifelet 10.
Sometimes just waiting for the bus takes twice as much time as just simply walking 

Taxi (or our pick up service) - be careful of taxi drivers....they usually take advantage of tourists so just know how to bargain, or set a price in advance. A taxi from the central bus station to Elifelet should cost no more than 20 shekels (5 USD, 3-4 Euros'). A ride from the airport to any location in central Tel Aviv should cost around 120 shekels!!! (About 30 U.S.D or 23 Euro). It may cost 10-20 shekels more if it is night time.

It is sometimes possible for us to have a pickup service from or too the airport for 120 shekels and 130 at night, however you must arrange it with us first in advance.

Hostel Policies:
* Age Restriction 18-40 !!
* No smoking inside the rooms (we have a spacious terraced roof)
* Passport is a must! (we keep our place for travelers and friends only)

Cleaning the rooms isn't easy, and nobody wants to get a room that was quickly cleaned.
