Welcome to Vientiane Backpackers Hostel
We are close to the busy main street to to visit Night market, Restaurant. ATM, Bar, Pool hall, Temple, Tourist attractions but far enough away to bo quiet for a good nights sleep.
BRAND NEW dormitory rooms are now open. We have 16-bed ' Anaconda' and 12-bed'Monkey options. Both of these rooms are clean, affordable, and air-conditioned from 8 Pm until 10 Am. The rooms offer all the amenities needed including a private power outlet and reading lamp, and large individual lockers with a complimentary lock for security. Bathrooms are shared and include a hot shower.
Double room and twin room: Quiet room with window, 1 double bed, Daily housekeeping, Baggage storage, Extra bed available, 24-hour room service,Cable TV channels,Air Conditioning, Mosquito Net, Minibar, High-speed Internet access.
We have: FREE Wifi, FREE Tea and Coffee all day, FREE tourist information, FREE Breakfast, FREE luggage storage,
We also offer: Laundry service, Towel for rent, Travelbooking service,
All our friendly staff at the Vientiane Backpackers Hostel are helpful and will do everything they can to make your stay here as happy as possible
The Vientiane Backpackers Hostel offers dorms with A/C, WiFi, laundry service, lockers (buy your own lock), 24 hour security and reception, a restaurant with food and drinks in the lobby and free tourist information with maps and consultation. Tourist consultation includes visa service, bus ticket, airline ticket, train ticket and some tours to Vietnam and other parts of Asia. There is a common room with Wifi, TV, A/C and beer so you can meet other backpackers or just relax away from the heat with a cool drink.
We have a very friendly and knowledgeable staff who can speak English and are happy to help you.
Upon request, we also have long-term beds for people who would like to work in the hostel.
Check In time is at 1:30 pm. and Check Out time is at 11:30 a.m., if you stay past 11:30 a.m. you must pay for on more night. You can not Check In with a Laos Passport, only foreigners may stay here. We have 24 hour reception and security.

OK value for money - though you can get cheaper dorm beds nearby. The dorms are too big - 14 beds in the one I stayed in though I had booked a 12 bed dorm. The breakfast isn't bad, you get toast and jam, a banana and a tea/coffee. A bit of a party hostel - good if that's what you're after, though not ideal if you need to get a good sleep as it's noisy at night time. Caroline, from England ~ 6th Feb 2013

the staff told us we have to wait for check in at 1pm which is fine. But as we wait there for hours, he grabbed backpackers from the street,tell them they have free beds, and they checked in straight away! I checked with him again then only he tell us ya u can check in now!!my second surprise is the price he offered to the walk ins is exactly the same price as I paid, which I already paid for deposit! He said bkgs thru hostel world or hostels.com is just to secure the bed! Deposit is extra fee! ht, from Malaysia ~ 14th Dec 2012
