The Apsley Ski Lodge is the perfect place for people looking for a city break, some outdoor adventure and a return to nature! Located in the heart of the Austrian Alps this hostel is very relaxed and will give you a real taste of Austrian alpine life!

Situated in the beautiful Wildschoenau Valley there is a huge array of activities on offer including; hiking, mountain biking, horse riding and is one of Austria's main paragliding hot spots. And if you ever fancied skiing in summer, now is your chance! The views are stunning, the locals are friendly, the air is fresh and the prices are cheap!

Traditionally decorated the Apsley Ski Lodge is made up of a mixture of warm, cosy and comfortable twins, doubles and dorm rooms, all with en suites and most with balconies, allowing you to admire the views from your own room.


The valley has many amenities including the mountain gondola, outdoor swimming pool (with slides!), tennis courts, museums and guided walks amongst others, around the area.

This place really is good value for money! In fact they will even throw in a free traditional Austrian breakfast for you every morning! Sound crazy, maybe it is all the schnapps they've been drinking?!

The Apsley wants you to feel 100% at home here as well. When not out adventuring in the day guest can chill out and watch DVD's or Sky TV on the super comfy bean bags and sofas in the lounge. There is an outdoor terrace to soak up the sun, hot tub, access to sauna and steam room, swimming pool free Wi-Fi.

In the evening why not fire up the BBQ and with over 22 different flavors of schnapps in the hostel bar there is usually some kind of party going on, even if there was no party to begin with!
