Very nice rooms,with lots of space and linen was very neat. Besides that, the common area is very typical of an european hostel, which makes Citystay a very nice place to stay.

REALLY good location... we could walk to do things both during the day and at night. We could not think of any part of the city we would rather stay in because of that. Also, the staff was helpful and everything else was fine. They were also nice about letting us drop things off and leaving them later.

The place had an amazing location and was very clean. The downsides were that you had to pay for linen and that most people in the hostel weren't students. There were mostly families staying there. We also requested an all female dorm, but three boys were staying in our room. When we complained we got free breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
This is the most central hostel I've stayed at - everything interesting in the eastern part of Berlin (Mitte) is max 15 min away by walk! The hostel itself is clean and nice but not a lot of fun. But at the station Hackesacher Markt 2 min away from the hostel there are a lot of bars and a very great Irish pub, Kilkenny. Go there if you feel like singing! The breakfast buffee at the hostel is pretty boring but opposite the station at the corner of the streets there is a very nice bakery-cafe where you can have a good and cheap breakfast. All in all Citystay Mitte is a great hostel and I will definitely return - Soon!!!
