Teresa is awesome. I love this place. The place is very homely and comfortable. YOu don´t ever want to leave. One of the travelers got sick and the lady took care of her instead of just telling people where to go. She took her to the doctor, made sure she got her presription and fed her what was needed. Teresa is very generous and she make this place a great place to stay.

Hi the first surprize that greets you with this hostel is its distance from the main town I reckon about 20 mins. Apart fromt hat the host is very helpful and sweet and the place grows on you. Bedding clean but some rooms could do with some heating in the winter

This place is actually someone's house that has been converted to a hostel. It is a little bit out of town, but a collectivo is cheap enough to get there from the bus drop-off (less than $1 USD). The kitchen is a bit cramped, but makes for meeting people. The best part about the hostel is the staff -- especially the owner Teresa. She will help you with anything you need, make arrangements for tours, etc., and she and other members of the family are extremely friendly and welcoming. The beds are comfortable and well stocked with blankets for cold nights. The bathrooms are enclosed so you can have some privacy after the shower. Overall I recommend.
